Production Manager - Garment Manufacturing (Cut to Pack)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the entire cut-to-pack production cycle for garment manufacturing, specifically for T-Shirts, Jackets, and Tracksuits. The position is based at our facility in Greater Noida and demands 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience in garment production.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the entire production process including cutting, sewing/stitching, finishing, ironing, quality checking, and packing.
• Plan and organize daily and weekly production schedules aligned with buyer requirements and shipment deadlines.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of production teams, supervisors, checkers, and operators to meet production targets.
• Monitor line efficiency, production output, and optimal utilization of manpower and machinery.
• Ensure effective coordination between cutting, stitching, finishing, quality control, and packing departments.
• Maintain consistent quality standards while minimizing rejection rates, alterations, reworks, and wastage.
• Conduct routine inline and final quality inspections to comply with approved samples, measurements, and specifications.
• Identify production bottlenecks promptly and implement corrective measures to avoid delays.
• Oversee availability of fabric and accessories to prevent any stoppage in production.
• Maintain detailed production documentation including daily output, rejection reports, and efficiency analyses.
• Ensure correct packing, assortment, labeling, and carton-wise packing as per buyer instructions.
• Liaise with merchandising, stores, purchasing, and management teams to ensure seamless production operations.
• Guarantee timely completion and dispatch of orders.
• Train and mentor production staff to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Uphold discipline, safety standards, and housekeeping on the production floor.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in manufacturing T-shirts, jackets, and tracksuits.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cutting, stitching, finishing, quality control, and packing processes.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complete cut-to-pack operations independently.
• Strong leadership and production floor management abilities.
• Sound understanding of garment quality standards along with measurement and specification controls.
• Capacity to handle multiple production orders simultaneously under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, managing production floor activities and reporting directly to management.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is INR 40,000 to INR 60,000.
