Palomba General Trading LLC, based in Dubai and operating throughout the GCC, Europe, and select global markets, specializes in natural ingredients, botanical extracts, flavor systems, essential oils, and specialized raw materials servicing sectors like food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and fragrance industries.
Role Overview
The Product Training Specialist will be responsible for creating and delivering detailed product training programs for internal commercial teams, distributors, and business partners across GCC markets. This role requires translating complex technical and commercial product data into user-friendly training content, supporting product launches, and ensuring clear communication of product knowledge for non-sales purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement product training sessions for commercial teams and distributors.
- Prepare engaging presentations, manuals, and training aids.
- Conduct both in-person and online training events.
- Communicate product attributes, applications, and unique selling points effectively.
- Liaise with international suppliers to align technical product data.
- Support onboarding processes for new products and ranges.
- Maintain an up-to-date repository of training materials.
- Customize training content to suit various industries and customer groups.
- Plan and coordinate training schedules collaboratively with commercial and distributor teams.
- Assist in product-launch preparations via structured training efforts.
- Gather attendee feedback for continuous improvement of training programs.
- Update training resources when specifications or related documents change.
- Aid internal teams in accurate product communication.
- Participate in targeted workshops, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Track completed trainings and prepare regular reports.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Product, and Technical departments across multiple markets.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in product or technical training, product support, or related technical-commercial roles.
- Strong skills in presentations and communications.
- Ability to interpret technical product details and explain them clearly.
- Excellent fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational and project coordination capabilities.
- Comfortable presenting to professional audiences.
Preferred Background
- Experience in sectors such as food ingredients, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, botanical extracts, essential oils, flavors and fragrances, cosmetics, specialty chemicals, or B2B distribution.
- Exposure to work with international manufacturers or distributors is a plus.
- Knowledge of Arabic language is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly salary ranges between QAR 16,000 and QAR 21,000 dependent on experience, qualifications, and industry background.
