Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to oversee the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI-powered product offerings. This position is based in Abu Dhabi and involves a 2-year extendable contract. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to identify valuable business opportunities, detail product requirements, and collaborate with engineering, data science, and business units to take AI products from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap for AI-driven solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and select AI use cases based on impact, feasibility, and user needs.
- Gather, document and refine detailed business and technical requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Establish product success criteria and quality benchmarks focused on accuracy, user adoption, satisfaction, performance, and responsible AI practices.
- Work cooperatively with engineering, data science, and AI development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead activities such as product discovery, pilots, user testing, and phased launches.
- Track product performance and user feedback to drive continuous enhancement by prioritizing backlog items.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates, demonstrations, and managing release schedules.
- Ensure all AI products comply with governance, data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
- Facilitate change management and user enablement initiatives to ensure maximum realization of product value.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in product management, preferably in technology, AI, machine learning, or data-centric products.
- Demonstrated success managing products from initial concept through launch and continuous improvement.
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and business leaders.
- A strong grasp of AI technologies, machine learning, and limitations of large language models (LLM).
- Skilled in defining product requirements, KPIs, and measuring success.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical abilities, communication prowess, and stakeholder engagement skills.
