Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the produce department to ensure optimal presentation.
• Rotate inventory and identify expired items for removal.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing to ensure merchandise is clearly identified.
• Comply with cold chain procedures, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, proper food handling, product rotation, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow strict food safety protocols and conduct regular sanitation and cleaning tasks.
• Carry out ordering, clearance, markdowns, and product labeling following company guidelines.
• Ensure the department is fully stocked and ready to serve customers efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Manage merchandise stocking and downstocking, apply product protection when necessary, and set modular displays including flexible and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position begins at 18.05 CAD.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
