Key Responsibilities
- Issue purchase orders and handle open order follow-ups efficiently.
- Record material shortages using the Pacer System.
- Monitor order statuses, manage vendor deliveries, and track shortages.
- Assess and suggest material solutions, collaborating with the SIOP Team to align with production plans.
- Lead supplier performance evaluations to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service standards.
- Guarantee material availability for engine production while optimizing inventory levels through active WIP and monitoring aged finished goods and work in progress.
- Analyze parts consumption and implement strategies to maintain stock levels aligned with current usage trends (ROP/ROL).
- Coordinate with vendors on defective part resolution through defect report management.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant procurement experience in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to perform effectively in dynamic and fast-paced settings.
- Strong analytical aptitude facilitating creative problem-solving, proposal drafting, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate in cross-functional and international contexts, fostering supplier performance improvements.
- Team-oriented attitude with high performance standards to achieve organizational goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI tools.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience in Aerospace or Defense sectors is advantageous.
