Role Overview
This full-time Process Technician role, based at the Marley site in Manurewa, involves supporting the Finishing Team by operating finishing machinery, assembling products, ensuring quality standards, and fulfilling customer orders safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute post-moulding finishing tasks as per Team Leader directions.
- Apply product barcodes and labels precisely.
- Package finished goods following quality and dispatch protocols.
- Conduct welding to assemble and complete products.
- Perform product assembly and preparation duties.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines consistently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces, complying with housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate closely with team leaders and production personnel to achieve daily targets.
- Assist with general production and operational duties when needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, processing, or industrial settings is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and interpreting work instructions.
- Dependable, proactive, and capable of working autonomously.
- Possession of a forklift license is advantageous.
- Physical fitness to manage production and packaging tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities and schedules.
- Strong dedication to workplace health and safety, promoting safe practices and a positive safety environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to foster constructive relationships across departments and stakeholders.
