ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Plant Operation & Process Control
- Manage and oversee the operations of the SWRO plant utilizing DCS/SCADA platforms.
- Regulate key plant systems including intake, pretreatment, DAF, ultrafiltration, high-pressure pumps, RO trains, chemical dosing, and water distribution.
- Monitor system alerts and operational anomalies, implementing appropriate corrective measures to ensure steady plant performance.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Document operational metrics and compile comprehensive shift reports.
- Supervise water quality indicators and analyze trends affecting plant efficiency.
- Maintain precise and current operational logs for reference and future analysis.
Coordination
- Collaborate closely with field operators during startup, shutdown, and emergency plant procedures.
- Oversee and guide field operations remotely from the control room.
- Relay operational modifications to maintenance and operations teams for smooth workflow.
Maintenance Support
- Provide assistance to maintenance staff during fault analysis and equipment isolation tasks.
- Engage in instrumentation and process equipment calibration activities.
- Contribute to routine preventive maintenance efforts to enhance plant reliability.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards including permit-to-work processes.
- Ensure all operations meet environmental guidelines and water quality standards.
- Promptly report any irregular conditions or safety concerns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Process Technology, or Water Treatment Technology.
- Alternatively, candidates with technical or trade certifications and relevant desalination experience are considered.
- Have 3 to 5 years or more experience in operating large-scale SWRO desalination (50 MLD+) or water/wastewater treatment plants, process industries like chemical, power, or oil & gas.
- Experienced in operating control systems like DCS, SCADA, and PLC.
- Solid understanding of water treatment chemistry and related chemical dosing systems.
