About the Team

The Trading Strategies Mobile Team is responsible for the development of the Trading Bot and Copy Trading features across Android and iOS platforms. They deliver diverse automated trading strategies such as Spot & Futures Grid, DCA, Smart Portfolio, arbitrage, AI-driven bots, and features for following top traders. The team emphasizes high engineering standards, code quality, and performance, working closely with Product and Design to innovate and enhance the user's automated trading experience, including the integration of AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and oversee delivery for the Android/iOS Trading Bot platforms, also contributing to Copy Trading efforts to improve code quality, stability, and performance.
• Manage large-scale technical initiatives such as migrating from Kotlin/Swift to Rust/UniFFI, modularizing codebases, and addressing performance hotspots including crashes, ANRs, and startup delays.
• Participate in product requirement discussions, devising sound technical solutions while safeguarding product stability and user experience.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to guide the Trading Bot roadmap, including new strategies, sharing features, attribution, growth initiatives, and AI-powered enhancements.
• Keep abreast of industry advances, refine architecture continually, and enhance the engineering team's skills through training and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor and elevate the technical abilities of engineering colleagues, providing leadership through influence rather than authority.
• Drive innovation by exploring AI integrations within business contexts to enrich product and technology offerings.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in leading Android/iOS app development with strong proficiency in Kotlin, multi-module architectures, and platform performance optimization (handling ANR, crashes, startup and memory issues).
• Proven ability to lead medium to large projects end-to-end, improving legacy codebases and enforcing high-quality architectural standards.
• Combines technical depth with business acumen, able to set strategic technical direction aligned with product roadmaps and measurable business results.
• Experience in trading or fintech sectors, ideally with client-side exposure to crypto exchanges, brokerage, or fintech applications related to order execution, market data handling, and asset management. Practical knowledge of automated or algorithmic trading is a strong advantage.
• Leadership through mentorship and peer influence, fostering team alignment, collaboration, and skill development without relying on formal authority.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience in Rust programming, cross-language development, and managing shared cross-platform cores using UniFFI or similar technology.
• Deep domain expertise in automated trading mechanisms such as bots, derivatives, copy trading, arbitrage, or market-making strategies.
• Background in AI engineering, including knowledge of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI integration in workflows.
• Familiarity with performance and reliability monitoring tools, including application performance monitoring, tracing, and large-scale crash or ANR analysis.
• Experience with scalable CI/CD pipelines for complex multi-module or monorepo projects.
• Demonstrated ability in client-side team leadership and facilitating cross-team collaboration and technical reviews.
