Primer Painter

Role Overview

As a Primer Painter at Cabico&co, you will operate spray guns and associated tools to apply paint, stains, and other finishes specifically to cabinetry and cabinet parts. This role is essential within our production team to ensure every product meets stringent standards of quality, aesthetics, and durability.

Key Responsibilities

• Use spray guns to apply paint and finishes to cabinets and components accurately, matching specified color samples and adhering to established methods.
• Achieve safety, quality, productivity, and scheduling targets consistently.
• Verify completeness, compliance, and timely finish of cabinets and related materials.
• Detect and report any defects or irregularities in materials, components, or finish quality.
• Uphold and promote the company’s Core Values and Management Philosophy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the production scope.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Prior experience with painting cabinetry, wood products, or comparable materials is advantageous.
• Familiarity with types of wood, stains, varnishes, paints, and finishing agents is desirable.
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kilograms).
• Ability to remain standing, bending, and undertake repetitive tasks for extended durations.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable working in an environment with dust, variable temperatures, and strong odors.

Working Hours and Compensation

• Hourly pay starting from $23.36 per hour.
• Additional evening shift premium of $2.00 per hour.
• 40-hour workweek on an evening shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.
