About the Role
Freight Care Logistics is seeking a seasoned Pricing Manager specializing in freight forwarding and logistics to enhance our expanding operations in Dubai. This role demands extensive experience and a deep understanding of pricing strategies related to air, sea, and land freight services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise and competitive freight quotations across air, sea, and land modes.
- Engage in rate negotiations with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and international agents.
- Collaborate with the sales team by delivering prompt pricing insights and commercial options.
- Regularly update and manage freight tariffs, pricing databases, and rate structures.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to maintain profitable and competitive pricing levels.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service for efficient shipment execution.
- Establish and sustain strong partnerships with carriers, suppliers, and overseas collaborators.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least six years of relevant experience in freight forwarding with a focus on pricing.
- Comprehensive understanding of services in air, sea, and land freight sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation capabilities coupled with strong communication and analytical prowess.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as freight forwarding software applications.
- Able to operate autonomously in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
