Role Overview

As a Pool Cleaner, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and attractive appearance of all pool areas within the property. Your duties will encompass daily cleaning activities, monitoring and adjusting pool water quality, ensuring proper operation of pool equipment, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety to guarantee a pleasant and secure environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, walls, and floors.
• Regularly test and manage pool water quality, balancing chemicals to maintain a safe and healthy aquatic environment.
• Maintain and inspect pool filtration, cleaning, and water circulation systems; report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep pool decks and surrounding areas clear of debris and hazards, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Clean and upkeep poolside furniture, tiles, and related equipment to maintain a hygienic and welcoming atmosphere.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance on pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems to ensure optimal functioning.
• Ensure availability and good condition of pool safety equipment, including life vests, ropes, and signage.
• Report damages, breakdowns, or safety concerns to the Pool Supervisor immediately.
• Respond appropriately to pool emergencies by adhering to established safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of changing rooms, showers, and adjacent facilities, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.
• Assist in setting up and closing pool areas daily, including arrangement of furniture and preparation for events.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Support additional pool and outdoor area duties as required by the team.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies to maintain an orderly and safe workspace.
• Keep detailed records of water testing, maintenance activities, and any repair or replacement work conducted.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to stay informed of best practices in pool maintenance and safety.
• Deliver excellent guest service by preserving a clean, safe, and inviting pool environment at all times.
• Perform any other related tasks necessary to ensure efficient pool area operation and uphold property standards.
