Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Planner specializing in roads or infrastructure to contribute to the successful delivery of road and infrastructure projects based in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. This position involves comprehensive planning, scheduling, and control activities to ensure projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and regulatory standards in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage baseline project schedules including critical path identification.
• Utilize Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software to prepare, update, and monitor schedules effectively.
• Coordinate multiple project packages and manage dependencies between them.
• Detect project delays early and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Monitor actual progress and compare against baseline plans.
• Generate progress reports, conduct variance analyses, and provide forecasts to stakeholders.
• Perform risk evaluations and “what-if” scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with quantity surveying teams for cost monitoring and projection.
• Support contract management tasks including Extension of Time claims and other contractual assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Possess no less than five years of proven planning experience focused on road and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Demonstrate expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• Have a solid understanding of UAE construction standards and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous but not mandatory.
