Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position at the MAAC center in Durgapur. The Placement Coordinator will focus on developing and sustaining relationships with recruiters, studios, and production houses to open up job opportunities for students. The role also covers arranging campus hiring activities, coordinating interviews and placement drives, monitoring placement results, and supporting students with resume writing, interview preparation, and professional behavior. In addition, the coordinator will share market and industry trends, prepare regular placement reports, work with academic teams to keep training aligned with employer needs, and help create a smooth and professional experience for both learners and hiring partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with recruiters, studios, and production houses.
• Create and coordinate placement opportunities for students.
• Plan and manage campus recruitment activities and placement drives.
• Arrange interview schedules and support the selection process.
• Track placement progress and outcomes, and prepare regular reports.
• Guide students on resume building, interview readiness, and workplace etiquette.
• Share relevant industry updates and current job market information.
• Coordinate with academic teams to align training with industry expectations.
• Ensure a professional and supportive experience for students and hiring partners.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• Clear communication skills for engaging with students, faculty, and employers.
• Customer service mindset for offering prompt guidance and support.
• Understanding of education and training environments, preferably in media, animation, or related fields.
• Recruitment-related capability, including opportunity sourcing, selection coordination, and database management.
• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline; management, education, or media specialization is an added advantage.
• Previous exposure to placement coordination, career services, HR, or recruitment is preferred.
• Good organizational skills, close attention to detail, and comfort using MS Office and online communication tools.

Eligibility

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any stream may apply. Candidates with a background in management, education, or media will be especially suitable. Prior experience in placements, career services, HR, or recruitment is preferred.
