Primary Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to arrange home sample collection appointments.
• Travel to patient residences for sample collection as per scheduled timings.
• Collect and conduct rapid testing on samples when required.
• Ensure sample integrity using aseptic methods and SOP adherence.
• Confirm patient identities and verify relevant documents accurately.
• Perform venipuncture and finger-stick blood collection techniques.
• Utilize appropriate diagnostic tools for sample analysis.
• Precisely label vials and match specimens to patient records.
• Package samples carefully for safe transport to laboratories.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient information and test data.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate lab equipment as needed.
• Follow correct tagging procedures and documentation standards.
• Adhere to biohazard safety protocols and biomedical waste management guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 10 years of professional experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
• Expertise in blood collection and proper sample handling techniques.
• Good understanding of diagnostic testing protocols.
• Knowledgeable about biomedical waste disposal practices.
• Professional demeanor with empathy and strong communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for record maintenance.
• Educational credentials: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT or BMLT).
• Possession of a two-wheeler and valid driving license (DL/LL).
• Willingness to travel and a proactive, customer-first attitude.
