Role Overview

The People Operations Associate position is ideal for individuals early in their HR or People Operations journey, offering hands-on experience in diverse people programs. The role focuses on ensuring employees in a global remote team enjoy a seamless, consistent, and supportive experience throughout their employment at Pearl.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures along the employee lifecycle
• Maintain accuracy and reporting for employee records and HR systems
• Support employee engagement efforts including surveys and feedback initiatives
• Facilitate connections among employees across different teams, locations, and time zones
• Create and update internal documentation, guides, and knowledge bases
• Work collaboratively with the global People team to manage daily operations and respond to employee inquiries
• Build strong relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners
• Identify and propose enhancements to processes and employee experience initiatives
• Learn to develop, test, and maintain AI-driven workflows to boost employee support and operational efficiency
• Support compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws

Candidate Requirements

• Between 0 and 2 years of experience in HR, People Operations, recruiting coordination, operations, customer support, administration, community-building, or employee engagement
• Keen interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, People Operations, or Employee Experience
• Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and acute attention to detail
• A relationship-oriented mindset with a passion for supporting employees and fostering community
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across teams and time zones
• Comfort working remotely and facilitating connection among distributed teams
• Enthusiasm for learning emerging technologies, including AI tools and automation
• Familiarity with HR platforms such as HiBob or Lattice is advantageous
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
