Patient Support Coordinator

Job Overview

The Patient Support Coordinator serves as the empathetic and informed first point of contact for patients engaging with Montu UK. Managing approximately 450 calls weekly, each lasting around five minutes, this role involves offering guidance, answering inquiries, and providing reassurance throughout the patient's treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound communications to support patients effectively.
• Schedule appointments, manage necessary paperwork, and address patient questions with care and precision.
• Maintain patient records accurately within the management system while ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
• Coordinate closely with clinical teams to facilitate seamless patient care transitions.
• Deliver service with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency in line with Montu UK’s quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in high-pressure call center environments managing complex and frequent queries.
• Background in customer service or healthcare demonstrating patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by active listening prowess.
• Proficiency with IT tools; familiarity with patient management software or CRMs is advantageous.
• Self-driven and well-organized, capable of independent work and meeting performance objectives.

Employee Benefits and Working Conditions

• Standard 40-hour workweek spread across 5 days, fully remote within the UK.
• Work hours include shifts from 7:30am to 4:30pm or 9:30am to 6:30pm with some requirement for weekend shifts in rotation.
