Role Overview

The team is looking for a dependable, practical Packing Operator to join the production crew in Camellia, NSW. In this full-time position, you will run thermoformer packaging equipment and help guide a small packing team to achieve daily output goals. The role is hands-on, fast moving, and important to the smooth running of the line.

Work Location and Hours

Location: Camellia, NSW
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 6:30am to 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and run thermoformer packaging machinery at the beginning of each shift.
Fine-tune machine settings such as speed, temperature, vacuum, and cycle timing to keep production on target.
Oversee the flow of work along the packing line so product moves efficiently through each stage.
Support and coordinate a small team of packing staff during the shift.
Carry out basic fault-finding and help reduce machine stoppages.
Lift, manage, and change film rolls weighing 20 to 25 kg in a safe manner.
Assist with general packing tasks and use other line equipment when needed.
Complete shutdown procedures, cleaning preparation, and end-of-day reporting.

What You Need

You should have previous exposure to production or packaging machinery, with thermoformer experience considered a strong advantage. The role calls for someone who can troubleshoot equipment in a busy environment, take initiative, and lead by example on the line. You’ll also need to be physically capable of manual work, including lifting up to 25 kg, while maintaining a strong eye for detail, clear communication, and a consistent focus on quality.
