Operations Manager - Flexo Narrow-Web Printing

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Manager with solid techno-commercial expertise in flexo narrow-web printing to oversee operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 12 years of pertinent experience, especially in strategic decision-making, production leadership, and customer-focused commercial support. This is a hands-on position requiring effective management of plant operations, production performance, process enhancements, and techno-commercial customer assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations related to flexo narrow-web printing.
• Ensure achievement of production goals, maintain quality standards, meet delivery schedules, and manage cost efficiency.
• Drive ongoing improvements in manufacturing processes, optimize machine utilization, and reduce waste to boost productivity.
• Oversee plant performance, plan manpower, coordinate maintenance, and streamline workflow efficiency.
• Support management with strategic and operational decisions based on production metrics, commercial factors, and customer needs.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers by understanding printing requirements, recommending solutions, and resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with sales and customer teams to assist in commercial negotiations, product discussions, and solution selling.
• Manage customer interactions regarding product performance, print quality, troubleshooting, and production optimization.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with production, quality, sales, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth business operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards relevant to Saudi Arabia.
• Prepare and deliver operational reports, performance reviews, and improvement plans to senior management.
• Build and mentor operational teams to promote a high-performance, customer-centric culture.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in printing or packaging industries, with strong expertise in flexo narrow-web printing.
• Proven track record in operational, production, or plant management roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of printing techniques, substrates, inks, adhesives, quality parameters, and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience in decision-making at operational or business levels.
• Ability to manage production operations along with customer-facing techno-commercial activities.
• Strong commercial acumen, capable of supporting customer discussions, pricing coordination, and solution-oriented engagements.
