About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee our optical components manufacturing division. This role demands active, hands-on leadership within a dynamic production setting that operates round-the-clock. The chosen candidate will be pivotal in directing and supporting our technicians and operators, ensuring seamless operations across multiple shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the optical manufacturing team by providing operational oversight and supervision.
- Manage and coordinate workflows within a 24/7 production environment to maintain efficiency.
- Directly oversee technicians and operators, fostering teamwork and maintaining high performance.
- Implement strategies to optimize production processes and uphold quality standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols within the manufacturing area.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in physical sciences or a related field.
- Extensive experience exceeding 10 years in optics manufacturing or closely related industries.
- Strong leadership skills coupled with practical knowledge of production management.
