Operations Manager - Days

Overview

Join Evri as an Operations Manager focused on day shift operations, working within a dynamic logistics environment. This role involves leading the daily activities at one of our depots, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely parcel handling through our expanding Out of Home network. You will play a pivotal role in developing a more structured, scalable, and performance-driven operational team to support strong commercial growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day depot functions including inbound processing, sorting, dispatching, and debriefing drivers.
• Lead, inspire, and coach Team Leaders and operational staff to reach high-performance levels.
• Achieve and maintain productivity, service quality, and cost control KPIs while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with drivers, transport teams, and other network stakeholders.
• Provide support to satellite depots to ensure operational consistency across the network.
• Continuously seek and implement improvements and uphold operational best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume depot, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on motivating and growing frontline teams.
• Proven ability to deliver on operational KPIs, SLAs, and cost targets.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Possession of a full, clean driving licence and educational background equivalent to GCSE level or relevant industry experience.
