Operations Director

Overview

The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing site operations to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and surpass customer expectations. This role ensures that business activities are efficiently coordinated and productive by managing processes and guiding personnel to deliver top-tier performance. A comprehensive understanding of company operations combined with strong leadership capabilities is essential to operate the facility effectively.

Key Duties

• Promote a safety-first environment, aiming for zero workplace injuries
• Drive operational excellence by setting and achieving strategic efficiency and productivity targets
• Plan, track, and analyze critical operational performance metrics
• Oversee budgeting, cost management, and revenue projection
• Manage and expand significant OEM customer partnerships
• Implement process enhancements to boost output and reduce expenses
• Coordinate closely with the affiliated US site to ensure global standards and consistency
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team in collaboration with HR

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in GMP environments or electronics manufacturing
• At least 8 years in senior leadership roles within high-volume manufacturing, preferably in electronics or MedTech sectors
• Demonstrated success managing OEM customer relationships and cost structures
• Proven record in process improvements and operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain, engineering, quality, HR, environment, health & safety, and IT functions
