Role Responsibilities
- Architect, create, test, and sustain APIs and integration solutions using Mule 4 and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Develop REST and SOAP APIs alongside reusable integration modules and event-driven applications.
- Integrate diverse enterprise applications efficiently.
- Operate with API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, and perform data transformations with DataWeave.
- Support CI/CD automations, software deployments, monitoring activities, troubleshooting, and production support processes.
- Ensure compliance with API security protocols, governance, authentication mechanisms, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and AI/automation teams within Agile/Scrum development frameworks.
- Document technical details rigorously and participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
- Guide junior engineers through mentoring and conduct thorough code reviews.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years dedicated to MuleSoft development.
- Expertise in Mule 4, DataWeave scripting, designing REST and SOAP APIs, RAML, JSON, XML, and integration design patterns.
- Strong background in Java programming, version control with Git, build tools like Maven, API testing with Postman, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins automation.
- Hands-on experience with CloudHub, API Manager, microservices architecture, and messaging middleware such as Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ.
- Proficient with API security techniques including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS.
- Fundamental knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning concepts, including generative AI, intelligent automation, and integrating external AI APIs and services.
- MuleSoft certification is advantageous.
