Role Overview
This position provides essential support for the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) functions, facilitating data-driven decision-making through careful management of indicators, data systems, and reporting practices. It aims to boost the effectiveness and accountability of programs.
Core Duties
- Assist with implementing the project's results framework aligned with overall strategy.
- Collaborate with the Senior MEL Manager to integrate MEL needs into program planning and reporting processes.
- Engage in performance monitoring, gathering data, and compiling evidence.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for evaluations and external learning projects.
- Oversee dashboards and data summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Help produce transparent reports and proper documentation of outcomes.
- Support learning initiatives and help spread key lessons among programs.
- Align reporting schedules, expectations, and data workflows.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding reporting and data contributions supporting MEL objectives.
Candidate Profile and Experience
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation within global health, development, or an equivalent field.
- Strong organizational abilities and collaborative team skills.
- Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Practical experience assisting M&E activities alongside partner organizations such as implementing agencies, research entities, or multilateral institutions.
- Capability to compile and present data effectively to underpin evidence-based suggestions.
- Excellent communication skills tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
