Job Opportunity
We are expanding our Medical Response Team at Crown Resorts Perth, located in Burswood, Western Australia, and invite applications from skilled Medics for various positions within our operations. Reporting to the Medical Services Manager, your role as a single responder Medic involves delivering prompt, professional first aid and emergency treatment to incidents within Crown Perth and its immediate vicinity. You will provide both primary and pre-hospital emergency care in a complex 24-hour operational environment to ensure the safety and health of patrons, employees, contractors, and the public.

Note that while role requirements remain the same, shift patterns vary between employment types. Applicants must specify their preferred employment arrangement and availability. Due to Crown's 24/7 operations, willingness to work a range of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays is necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver timely, professional first aid and emergency medical assistance to patrons and staff.
- Respond swiftly to medical incidents, including those directed by local ambulance services.
- Provide clinical leadership at incidents, managing patient care, the scene, and escalation procedures.
- Perform thorough medical evaluations and decide on suitable treatment or referral actions.
- Coordinate with external Emergency Services to ensure safe, effective patient transfers.
- Adhere to Crown Perth’s policies, clinical governance, and health and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years recent, relevant operational experience.
- Possession of HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care or Diploma of Paramedical Science.
- Confidence and competence functioning independently as a single responder.
- Sound clinical judgment with the capability to remain composed under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude.
- Proactive and safety-oriented mindset aligned with Crown’s values.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts following a rotating roster.
This role suits professionals who are calm under pressure, self-motivated, and capable of operating with limited supervision. Paramedics are invited to apply but should note this position’s scope is not at Paramedic level.
