Position Summary

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and governance of supply chain master data across ERP and planning systems. This includes managing items, Bills of Materials (BOMs), vendors, costs, units of measure, and planning parameters to ensure reliability for functions like planning, procurement, logistics, and finance. This role operates within the Systems & Continuous Improvement team to define data standards, enforce governance processes, and support system improvements and data clean-up efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage creation, upkeep, and governance of item master data, BOMs, vendor information, cost records, units of measure, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings.
• Establish and uphold data standards, naming conventions, and workflows for change control related to data management.
• Conduct regular audits to detect and rectify data anomalies, duplicates, and omissions.
• Assist in configuration, testing, and enhancements of ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and planning tools concerning master data.
• Collaborate with Reporting & Analytics teams to guarantee the input of high-quality data for reporting purposes.
• Create and maintain documentation and provide training to users regarding master data standards and procedures.
• Provide cross-departmental support to planning, procurement, logistics, and finance teams by delivering accurate and timely data setup and maintenance.
• Facilitate new product onboarding, product lifecycle adjustments, and vendor setups.
• Perform additional duties and support projects as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in master data management, data governance, or related supply chain systems roles.
• Practical experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, focusing on item master and BOM control.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and meticulous attention to data accuracy.
• Familiarity with MRP concepts and fundamental supply chain operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills oriented towards processes, paired with excellent documentation and communication abilities.
• Minimal travel commitments.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on factors like experience, expertise, and job location.
