About the Role
The Marketing Assistant works alongside Account Managers and Directors to create a smooth client experience. This role focuses on maintaining service quality and handling both reactive and planned client requests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
The core purpose of the position is to keep client and team needs moving with a fast response time so clients receive consistent support and strong service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle client communication in a polished, professional way over email and phone.
- Help the Account Manager organize and complete client requests promptly.
- Work through issues tied to a client’s website, campaign, or account, and complete related tasks.
- Respond to basic questions about client campaigns and account activity.
- Monitor all incoming client emails and make sure every message receives an acknowledgment before the end of the day.
- Step in to assist with essential client needs when Account Managers are not available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 0–1 year of experience, including internships; suitable for recent graduates and early-career candidates.
- Background in customer service, marketing, or account coordination.
- Strong written communication skills and solid organizational ability.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Capable of managing several client or manager requests at the same time.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Detail-oriented, with a practical approach to task handling.
- Able to work well in a fast-moving, team-based environment.
- Ability to route tasks to the appropriate support team correctly.
- Confidence using Scorpion tools to answer basic client questions about campaigns and accounts.
- Familiarity with Scorpion’s technology stack, including Platform, CSX, and CMS.
Compensation
The expected base salary for this role is between $52,000 for entry-level candidates and $60,000 for highly experienced candidates, before fringe benefits. Final pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, education, experience, and internal pay equity. The top of the range is not typically offered immediately so there is room for future salary growth.
In addition to base pay, the role may include discretionary bonus or commission opportunities.

Interview Process
- Initial phone screen: a 30-minute recruiter conversation to learn about your background and share role details.
- First interview: a 30-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager to discuss your experience and goals.
- Second interview: a 60-minute in-person panel interview with the hiring team.
Work Location and Flexibility
Scorpion offers in-office, hybrid, and remote work options. For roles marked remote, employees who live within commuting distance of a Scorpion office may still be asked to come in depending on team needs, collaboration opportunities, or business priorities. Final expectations are discussed during the interview process.
