Role Overview

This position involves working on a weekend day shift schedule transitioning in Q4 2026 to a Backend Day Shift consisting of 12-hour shifts every Friday to Sunday plus alternate Thursdays on a 4-on/3-off and 3-on/4-off cycle. A 15% shift premium applies on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret schematics, diagrams, layouts, and instructions to perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Test and verify performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using appropriate testing instruments.
• Operate and maintain robotic devices and vision system equipment.
• Analyze test outcomes, document findings, and generate technical reports.
• Conduct operational tests and fault diagnosis on automated machinery and systems.
• Assist project engineers in equipment development activities including assembly, testing, engineering studies, and validations.
• Follow strict safety and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) protocols to ensure safe working conditions.
• Update and maintain equipment-related documentation such as manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned while adhering to safety standards.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Level 6 or Level 7 qualification with at least 5 to 8 years’ experience in relevant technical fields.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical documents concerning equipment specs.
• Proficient in writing routine reports, logs, and professional communications.
• Capable of clearly presenting information and responding effectively to supervisors, engineers, and management.
• Demonstrated expertise with PLCs and automated production/process equipment is essential.
• Experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electro-Mechanical systems, and resistance welding is highly desirable.
• Background in process improvement projects focused on yield enhancement and downtime reduction.
• Proven capability to work hands-on within a high-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledgeable about high reliability and high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Skilled in technical writing related to manufacturing documentation and process development.
