About the Role
The Manager, Talent Programs & Initiatives based in Santa Monica, CA, reports to the Senior Manager of Emerging & Pipeline Programs in Talent Acquisition. This person is tasked with converting talent acquisition strategies into actionable recruitment projects, partnerships, and programs aimed at developing emerging talent and enhancing talent pipelines, recruitment marketing, and employer branding. They provide leadership on projects, enable stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to create scalable talent solutions that meet current and future organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate talent priorities into project plans and recruitment activations, focusing on key communities (e.g., veterans, alumni) and specialized Red Bull initiatives.
- Lead program execution by conducting project meetings, defining ownership and milestones, managing risks, and ensuring alignment and accountability across teams.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leaders and stakeholders to align on talent requirements and implement programs, develop adoption strategies, training materials, FAQs, and other resources.
- Plan and oversee recruiting events and candidate experiences, handling budgeting, logistics, staffing, vendor coordination, and contingency plans to deliver inclusive and consistent events.
- Support Emerging Program hiring cycles with candidate communications, interview preparation, event logistics, and stakeholder coordination.
- Assess program impacts by defining success metrics, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and delivering regular reports with strategic recommendations.
- Develop process documentation, playbooks, and technology-based solutions to improve efficiency and consistency.
Experience and Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of experience in project or program management, talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, employer branding, event management, or HR-related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to independently handle medium to complex cross-functional projects from start to finish, ensuring adoption and evaluation.
- Strong project management skills including timeline creation, risk mitigation, facilitation, and reporting.
- Experienced in managing multi-stakeholder events or programs with budget and vendor oversight.
- Capable of driving new program rollouts and ensuring stakeholder adoption across diverse groups.
- Excellent communication skills for advising partners and presenting to organizational leaders.
- Proficient in analyzing data to identify trends and recommend program improvements.
- Highly organized with attention to detail, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Preferred experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment marketing, employer branding, or talent pipeline programs.
Additional Information
This role is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and individuals authorized to work in the U.S. on a valid visa. Compensation ranges from $92,000 to $138,000 annually plus cash incentives; actual salary depends on experience.
