Manager - Quality

Overview

The role emphasizes deep expertise in establishing ISO standards within an organization, specifically ISO 9001:2008 certification, Quality Management System (QMS), and quality-related documentation including manuals and procedural processes. The candidate will focus on promoting a culture committed to quality across all functions, developing functional parameters, manpower job descriptions, and skill matrices.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement a project-specific quality plan.
• Manage overall quality assurance and control activities for civil and MEP aspects during all project phases to guarantee organizational deliverables.
• Conduct regular quality training sessions and meetings to reinforce quality practices.
• Document and issue site quality notes and Non-Conformance (NC) reports related to site activities.
• Prepare quality observation reports and perform site walk-downs to monitor quality adherence.
• Review all test documentation, including Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and third-party test reports, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Periodically evaluate and update the QMP to maintain effectiveness.
• Inspect mock-ups and coordinate approval processes.
• Develop and implement checklists for all work activities.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in ISO 9001:2008 implementation.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and controls in construction or related projects.
