Maintenance Technician IV in the Sector for Support Services (m/f) (DM 248) at the Government Office for the Care and Integration of Migrants

Position Overview

The selected candidate will enter into an indefinite full-time employment agreement with a three-month probationary period. The initial wage classification for this role is Level 4 (gross 1,382.50 EUR). However, to comply with the current minimum wage regulations, the employee will be placed in pay grade 7 (gross 1,510.69 EUR) upon hiring. The right to receive this base pay will accrue progressively according to the provisions of the applicable public sector pay legislation.

The work location is primarily at the Government Office for the Care and Integration of Migrants, Cesta v Gorice 15, 1000 Ljubljana, and potentially at other official premises where the office operates.

Application Requirements

• Completion of secondary vocational education (code 14001),
• At least four months of relevant work experience,
• A valid category B driving license.

Work experience is defined as employment in a position requiring the same or one level lower education, as well as internship periods at the same or related education levels. Public sector employees' experience performing duties at the required education level or one level below is also recognized, except for internships. All experience must be supported by official documents indicating the duration and education level involved.

Job Duties

• Monitoring the condition of buildings, equipment, office premises, and vehicles,
• Reporting on the status of facilities, equipment, business processes, and transportation means,
• Cooperating and coordinating with external contractors,
• Maintaining vehicles and managing the vehicle fleet,
• Assisting with receiving and coordinating basic assets, excluding IT equipment,
• Performing other tasks of equal complexity as directed by the supervisor.
