LMS Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced LMS Administrator with over three years of hands-on experience managing learning management systems within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, offering platform expertise, strategic consultation, precise configuration, and ongoing operational support of learning technology programs. This position blends platform administration duties with advisory responsibilities to optimize the learning experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up and oversee learning paths, certifications, evaluations, user groups, and course catalogs.
• Provide consultative advice on learning experience design and recommend best practices for LMS usage.
• Configure platforms including landing pages and learner pathways to enhance user engagement.
• Manage user provisioning, control access permissions, generate reports, and conduct overall system administration.
• Lead demos, coordinate workshops, and engage stakeholders for feedback and training.
• Diagnose platform issues and work collaboratively with LMS vendors to resolve technical problems.
• Contribute to release assessments, recommend improvements, and lead initiatives aimed at platform optimization.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Hands-on proficiency with LMS platforms such as SumTotal, Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), SuccessFactors (SF), and SABA.
• Expertise in managing learning paths, certifications, assessments, content collections, and catalogs.
• Strong background in LMS configuration and administration.
• Experience with user and permissions management including groups and access controls.
• Capability in creating reports, dashboards, and conducting learning analytics.
• Effective stakeholder management and consulting skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to LMS system integrations, single sign-on (SSO), and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Understanding of LMS governance policies and compliance requirements.
• Prior experience specifically with platforms such as SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, or SABA.
• Familiarity with learning operations and the learning and development (L&D) domain.
