Role Overview
We seek a fresh or junior legal professional entrusted with managing everyday legal tasks, court appearances, documentation, and frequent visits to government offices for official submissions and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage routine legal documentation and legal matters for the organization.
- Represent the company in court as needed.
- Assist with drafting legal documents including applications, affidavits, notices, and replies.
- Collaborate with senior advocates or lawyers when necessary.
- Maintain organized records of cases, legal paperwork, notices, and court documents.
- Regularly visit government entities such as JDA, municipal offices, and other authorities for official submissions and follow-ups.
- Handle submission and retrieval of official documents.
- Track status of pending applications and legal matters through follow-ups with relevant departments or officials.
- Prepare basic correspondence like official letters and applications.
- Coordinate internally to gather documents required for legal and governmental processes.
Candidate Criteria
- Must hold an LLB or LLM degree.
- Open to fresh graduates; candidates with up to two years relevant legal experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Indian legal system and court procedures is essential.
- Proficient in legal documentation and drafting.
- Comfortable with court visits and routine court-related duties.
- Able and willing to frequently travel to government offices for official work.
- Strong communication and diligent in follow-up activities.
- Confident and professional engagement with government officials and authorities.
- Possession of a personal vehicle and valid driving license is mandatory.
