Role Overview

The Laundry Supervisor position based onsite in Dubai involves managing the daily laundry operations to guarantee punctual and superior-quality cleaning and handling of linens across various outlets. The role requires supervising laundry team members, arranging work schedules, monitoring laundry equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and safety within the laundry facilities. Responsibilities include coordinating the full cycle of linen management—from collection and washing to drying, ironing, and distribution—while maintaining adequate stock levels and precise inventory documentation. The supervisor will also enforce standard operating procedures, train personnel, troubleshoot operational challenges, and collaborate effectively with other departments to fulfill service standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven leadership capabilities to guide, train, and inspire laundry personnel, manage shift planning, and supervise daily activities.
  • Hands-on experience in operating commercial laundry equipment and processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of linen care, sorting, storage, and quality assurance tailored for hospitality environments.
  • Strong communication competencies to liaise effectively with the team and other units, and to prepare detailed reports and inventory logs.
  • Background in hospitality or hotel laundry services is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced onsite working environment, paying close attention to detail and maintaining organization.
  • Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety protocols related to laundry operations.
  • Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training in laundry or hospitality considered advantageous.
