Laundry Assistant at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join the upcoming Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, a modern hotel designed to meet the needs of contemporary business travelers. Situated in Dubai Marina, next to the Dubai Marina Mall and accessible to a range of cafes and a scenic promenade, this 3,037 square-metre hotel houses 273 stylish rooms. The hotel combines modern business amenities with Arabian hospitality traditions, providing a productive and enjoyable environment for both business and leisure guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the collection and delivery of in-house guest laundry efficiently.
• Handle the pickup and drop-off of outside guest laundry and dry cleaning items.
• Ensure all guest items are delivered accurately, punctually, and with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collect laundry and dry-cleaning bags from guest rooms, verifying guest names, room numbers, and item counts.
• Cross-check all items against laundry price lists or guest-signed laundry sheets, noting any discrepancies or damages.
• Maintain laundry equipment in good working order and report any maintenance requirements to the facilities manager.
• Provide additional laundry services as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within a four- or five-star hotel or equivalent sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively with culturally diverse teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail with quality-oriented performance standards.
• Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency with laundry-related software is preferable.
