Role Overview
We are hiring a dependable and motivated Labourer to support our construction team for the new Aged Care development in Forster Lakes. This full-time fixed-term role spans two years, working 38 hours weekly, Monday to Friday between 6am and 5pm. You'll collaborate with skilled tradespeople to help build high-quality homes and community facilities that meet our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to tradespeople and site supervisors across general construction tasks.
- Manage site cleanup and handle materials efficiently.
- Load and unload building supplies safely.
- Operate basic construction tools under supervision.
- Keep worksite organized and maintain hazard-free environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any dangers or incidents.
- Support preparations for construction and display homes as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or project managers.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a White Card (Construction Induction) is mandatory.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Licensed and experienced in operating a telehandler/manitou.
- Strong dedication to work ethic and quality workmanship.
- Previous construction or laboring experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Positive mindset with eagerness to learn.
