Role Overview

We are hiring a dependable and motivated Labourer to support our construction team for the new Aged Care development in Forster Lakes. This full-time fixed-term role spans two years, working 38 hours weekly, Monday to Friday between 6am and 5pm. You'll collaborate with skilled tradespeople to help build high-quality homes and community facilities that meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to tradespeople and site supervisors across general construction tasks.
• Manage site cleanup and handle materials efficiently.
• Load and unload building supplies safely.
• Operate basic construction tools under supervision.
• Keep worksite organized and maintain hazard-free environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any dangers or incidents.
• Support preparations for construction and display homes as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or project managers.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a White Card (Construction Induction) is mandatory.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Licensed and experienced in operating a telehandler/manitou.
• Strong dedication to work ethic and quality workmanship.
• Previous construction or laboring experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Positive mindset with eagerness to learn.
