Role Overview
Sprout & Co is looking for a kitchen team member who cares about fresh food, strong flavour, and consistent quality. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, pays close attention to detail, and wants to build skills in a fast-moving environment. The position reports to the General Manager and is offered on a full-time basis.
Pay is €14.50 per hour.
What You Will Do
- Work in line with food safety rules and make sure every dish is prepared to the required safety standard.
- Maintain a clean, tidy kitchen and keep equipment sanitised and safe for use.
- Handle allergen awareness carefully to support safe preparation for customers with dietary needs.
- Use prep sheets and follow structured routines to keep food preparation accurate and consistent.
- Protect food quality by paying close attention to taste, appearance, and presentation.
- Follow the menu, ingredient lists, and standard operating procedures to keep service efficient and dependable.
- Assist the Kitchen Leader with stock checks, stock rotation, and general kitchen coordination.
- Step in wherever needed during busy periods, including helping on the service line and supporting the wider kitchen team.
About You
You should be enthusiastic about food, interested in fresh seasonal ingredients, and eager to keep learning. The team values people who bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine love for hospitality. You should also be comfortable working collaboratively and supporting others during service.
