About Fitness Cartel
Fitness Cartel Health Clubs is a rapidly expanding brand with ambitious plans to grow to over 60 clubs by 2030 across Australia and New Zealand. Role Overview
As a Crèche Supervisor within our Kids Cartel, you will be responsible for overseeing the wellbeing of children while their parents enjoy time in the gym. Your role is pivotal in maintaining a safe, fun, and supportive setting for our youngest visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of children under your supervision at all times.
- Strictly adhere to and enforce the check-in and pick-up procedures for children attending the crèche.
- Observe and manage children’s behaviors within the crèche to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Engage with children effectively, ensuring they remain calm and comfortable.
- Take ownership of your duty of care to ensure children's safety and wellbeing.
- Follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and complete duties efficiently.
- Undertake any additional related responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience working in a similar role caring for young children.
- A keen interest in health and fitness with enthusiasm for working within this sector.
- Dependability, initiative, punctuality, professional demeanor, and neat appearance.
- Strong work ethic and respectful attitude when interacting with members and their children.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate clearly and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) as required by Queensland law.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts consistent with gym operating hours (advanced notice provided).
- Legal right to work in Australia.
