We collaborate with some of the globe’s leading brands to address complex business challenges through design, strategic thinking, and expert craft. We are currently looking for a Junior Strategist to join our London office, working in a hybrid model with 2-3 days onsite weekly.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a curious and motivated Junior Strategist with at least two years of experience, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting a vibrant global team. Your work will involve exposure to our distinguished client portfolio, primarily within the FMCG sector, engaging in facets of brand development such as innovation, creative strategy, communications planning, activation, and e-commerce.

• Collaborate with strategy and consumer science teams to identify key information needs.
• Analyze client materials to extract meaningful insights.
• Conduct comprehensive desk research on brands, market categories, and consumer behaviors.
• Perform social listening and utilize Marks’ AI tools to leverage data effectively and identify opportunity areas.
• Assist in organizing workshops, consumer research, ideation sessions, and client meetings by documenting outcomes, preparing inspirational content, and supporting presentation creation.
• Maintain awareness of industry, design, and consumer trends, contributing to thought leadership and the company’s social media content.
• Operate autonomously on assigned tasks while also working collaboratively within the team.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

• At least 2 years’ experience in brand strategy, design, communications, research, or digital agency environments.
• Strong creative and analytical abilities with flexibility to alternate between both thinking styles.
• A proactive, energetic, and self-motivated mindset.
• Competency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of a university degree in any discipline.
