Junior General Accountant - Arabic Speaker

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior General Accountant fluent in both Arabic and English to join our Finance team in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience aiming to progress their career within a reputable and expanding organization.

Key Duties

• Maintain precise financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions efficiently.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with cash management.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor and control expenses, aiding budget preparation efforts.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with various internal departments on finance-related matters.
• Assist with both internal and external audit activities.
• Carry out additional accounting and finance tasks as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Holds 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in general accounting.
• Has solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting software.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a native Arabic speaker with fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Applicants must currently reside in Qatar.
