Role Summary
The position of Junior Event Producer focuses exclusively on K-12 related programs, requiring prior experience managing at least one B2B conference or event. This full-time role reports to a Production Manager and involves collaboration with other producers to ensure smooth event delivery. The work setting is hybrid with mandatory office presence twice a week in NY, NJ, or CT; remote work is also available from CA, FL, TX, PA, GA, OH, and IN.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop engaging content for conferences in partnership with industry specialists and internal teams.
- Identify and engage potential speakers and delegates for conference sessions.
- Design comprehensive program agendas that feature multiple sessions, keynote speakers, and curated content.
- Maintain and update digital conference materials and agendas regularly.
- Keep internal event databases current with all relevant details.
- Negotiate speaker-related expenses within budgetary constraints in coordination with the operations department.
- Oversee on-site event functions including managing speakers, timing, and technical or logistical requirements.
- Work closely with operations to align event preparation activities to ensure flawless execution on-site.
- Evaluate past event outcomes to identify potential improvements and opportunities for future events.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in B2B event production and knowledge of the events lifecycle.
- Ability to prospect and engage C-level executives effectively.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and proactive with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Strong skills in follow-up and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly.
- Technologically adept with the capability to learn various software applications.

Compensation
Annual base salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000, supplemented by bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commissions. Total expected yearly compensation for the first year ranges between $65,000 and $70,000.
