Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable JD Edwards CNC Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments effectively. This role includes extensive management of system components, deployment processes, and ensuring smooth operation of enterprise servers.
Core Responsibilities
- Install and configure Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems along with AIS, Orchestrator, BSSV, and REST services.
- Manage package builds, deployments, and apply ESU/ASU installations as required.
- Administer OMW, security settings, user roles, and multiple environment configurations.
- Oversee enterprise, deployment, web, and HTML servers ensuring their optimal functioning.
- Perform CNC administration tasks including path code management, object configuration, and environment setup.
- Continuously monitor system health, performance metrics, and application uptime.
- Provide troubleshooting for CNC-related challenges involving networking, middleware, security, and application components.
- Execute system upgrades, platform migrations, and Tools Releases efficiently.
- Support disaster recovery plans through backup and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, DBAs, infrastructure, and cloud teams to maintain system integrity.
- Maintain comprehensive system and deployment documentation and enforce security, audit, and change management standards.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell, or Python.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience (6 to 10 years) in JD Edwards CNC administration including production support, implementation, upgrades, or cloud migration projects.
- Proficient with package builds, deployment processes, and Oracle Tools Releases.
- Strong familiarity with backup strategies, disaster recovery procedures, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell scripting, or Python is preferred.
- Excellent analytical abilities paired with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills and capability to manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of cross-functional teams.
