Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain our servers and overall IT infrastructure
• Manage and administer firewall, switches, and access points
• Setup, configure, and maintain laptops, PCs, and smartphones
• Conduct patch and update management for operating systems and applications
• Prepare and provide technical support for internal trainings and events
• Deliver first-level IT support to employees, progressing later to second-level support
• Analyze, document, and resolve IT incidents sustainably
• Train and assist staff with IT applications
• Manage and maintain telecommunication systems (VoIP/Auerswald) for internal and external use
• Ensure daily backups for servers, laptops, and PCs to maintain data security
• Support and document data protection efforts, including online training track records
• Oversee and improve the company intranet, including user management and content updates
• Assist with internal digitalization projects
• Maintain and analyze data relevant to inventory processes
• Manage catalogs and price data

Candidate Profile

• Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist) or equivalent practical experience
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructures, networks, and end-user devices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Systematic, reliable, and independent working approach
• High attention to detail and conscientiousness, especially when handling systems and sensitive information
• Ability to work well in teams and enthusiasm for supporting colleagues
• Openness to new technologies and willingness to grow professionally

Working Hours and Location

Full-time position based in Wunsiedel, Bavaria, Germany, within the IT department.

Compensation and Start Date

Remuneration is based on internal company tariffs. The position is available immediately or by mutual agreement.
