Role Overview

We are recruiting an IT System Administrator to maintain and optimize the IT infrastructure supporting our healthcare facilities. Key duties include managing server installation, configuration, and upkeep (both physical and virtual), overseeing network components such as routing, VLANs, and Radius, as well as safeguarding the efficiency and security of storage and archive solutions. Responsibilities extend to user account administration, enforcing group policies through Active Directory, and facilitating hardware and software deployment across client systems. This position plays a vital role in sustaining technology-driven hospital operations and directly impacts healthcare service quality.

Qualifications

• A completed degree or equivalent qualification in information and telecommunications technology.
• Proven experience in IT system administration with proficiency in Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server, and VMWare.
• Strong understanding of Windows platforms and network infrastructure.
• Passion for managing sophisticated IT environments and tackling technical challenges.
• Self-driven, methodical, and responsible work ethic complemented by excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare IT settings is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital IT infrastructure management, ensuring reliable server and network operations.
• Administer physical and virtual server installation, configuration, and updates.
• Manage network routing, VLAN setups, and Radius configurations.
• Implement backup and restore procedures to maintain data integrity.
• Maintain storage and archiving systems while monitoring overall system performance.
• Promptly troubleshoot IT issues to minimize disruptions.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory, including creation, modification, and removal.
• Collaborate with IT team to implement security measures and comply with healthcare regulations.
