IT Operations Specialist

Role Overview

We seek a dedicated IT Operations Specialist committed to resolving operational hurdles, ensuring stable IT services, and collaborating across infrastructure, security, DevOps, and application teams to maintain mission-critical system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the status and accessibility of business-critical systems, including applications, servers, and network components.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and operational disruptions promptly, ensuring effective and timely problem resolution.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Application departments to address and solve technical challenges.
• Execute routine operational tasks such as system health assessments, data backups, and reviewing user access permissions.
• Assist in troubleshooting activities and support root cause investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date operational documentation, reports, and manage system inventories effectively.
• Adhere strictly to IT governance policies, security protocols, and change management workflows.
• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing operational processes, improving service availability, and boosting IT overall performance.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related area is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in IT Operations, infrastructure support, systems administration, or comparable roles.
• Strong foundational knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including servers, networks, applications, and operational procedures.
• Practical experience with incident handling, monitoring systems, service request management, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) software, change management processes, and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication skills, coordination abilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving aptitude.
