Role overview

Dhanani Private Equity Group is hiring a full-time Investment Analyst for its Sugar Land, TX office. This is an on-site position supporting both the acquisitions and asset management functions. The analyst will contribute to underwriting, market research, diligence, and investment decision-making across the firm’s real estate portfolio.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $30–35 per hour, with the exact rate depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out financial underwriting and valuation work for prospective acquisitions.
• Create and update detailed financial models, including cash flow forecasts and return calculations.
• Perform market analysis, property-level review, and due diligence support.
• Prepare investment memos, presentation materials, and internal reports.
• Help with transaction execution, closing activities, and follow-up analysis after acquisition.
• Monitor portfolio performance indicators and support asset management reporting needs.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Strong capability in financial modeling and quantitative analysis is expected.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Prior exposure to real estate underwriting and valuation is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational habits are important.
• The ability to juggle several projects in a fast-moving environment is needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Previous experience in a comparable role is an advantage.
