Role Overview

Based in Singapore, the OEGEN Asia Investments team is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst Intern to assist with the evaluation, execution, and management of investments in the energy transition sector. This six-month full-time internship provides hands-on experience in private equity investment focused on renewable energy and offers a strong foundation for developing a career in this area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial analyses, valuation, financial modeling, and commercial assessments to support investment opportunity evaluation and execution.
• Coordinate due diligence activities and review transaction documentation in support of transaction execution.
• Prepare investment committee papers, presentations, and other materials.
• Monitor performance and support the management of portfolio companies.
• Conduct research on markets, industries, and companies to identify new investment opportunities and aid decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong academic background with previous internships or work experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or renewable energy consulting.
• Proficient financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated passion for investing and the renewable energy or broader energy transition sectors.
• Commitment to a full-time six-month internship in Singapore.
