Intern, Sustainability (Sustainable Sourcing)

About the Role

Join Marina Bay Sands' dynamic and diverse team dedicated to advancing their sustainability mission. This internship focuses on supporting the organization's goals to enhance sustainable practices across the entire Integrated Resort, strengthening its position as a leader in corporate responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and contribute towards the sustainability initiatives of the Integrated Resort by fostering a corporate responsibility culture.
• Assist in the planning and execution of environmentally-friendly events.
• Help design and communicate sustainability programs, including educational and development materials for employees.
• Support sustainable capital project planning and implementation.
• Conduct research on product sustainability standards, benchmarking against accepted criteria.
• Analyze resource consumption data in-depth to identify trends and opportunities to reduce usage, and aid in implementing consumption reduction projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic background in Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or Social Sciences.
• Experience in Sustainability, Communications, or Hospitality is an advantage.
• Strong passion and knowledge in promoting sustainable development.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and convey the business impact of sustainability efforts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills comfortable working within multicultural teams.
• Proficient in English writing and speaking, along with fluency in at least one additional language.
• Effective communicator and educator who enjoys fostering others' development to promote better business practices.
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
