Overview
Join our client's team as a Human Resources Generalist where you'll be pivotal in supporting people, processes, and fostering continuous growth. This position oversees crucial elements of the employee lifecycle in collaboration with internal leaders, external vendors, and staffing partners to provide a seamless and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and precise payroll processing through the payroll platform.
- Audit timekeeping data to identify errors and confirm payroll accuracy before execution.
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records and prepare standard and ad hoc HR reports.
- Monitor employee information such as PTO, leave balances, and status changes.
- Support compliance reporting and manage HR documentation requirements.
- Assist with benefits administration and facilitate annual enrollment activities.
- Handle onboarding paperwork and mandatory compliance forms.
- Coordinate new hire system setups within HRIS, payroll, and other related platforms.
- Lead new employee orientations to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
- Oversee end-to-end recruiting processes including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, interview arrangements, and offer handling.
- Conduct reference verifications and background checks following company policies.
- Keep applicant tracking system data current and accurate.
- Administer employee status changes and offboarding procedures with proper documentation.
- Provide support to employees regarding HR systems and address onboarding or employment inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- Preferred HR certifications including PHR, SHRM-CP, or payroll-related credentials.
- A minimum of three years of HR experience, encompassing payroll and recruiting functions.
- Familiarity with employment documentation requirements, particularly I-9 compliance.
- Experience managing full recruitment cycles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Competency with payroll and HR information systems is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary target range between $55,000 and $65,000 annually.
