Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Advisor to join our small dynamic HR team on a fixed-term contract until January 31, 2027. This full-time role (37 hours per week) is based in London or Liverpool and offers a salary of up to £40,080. The successful candidate will support approximately 650 employees by delivering efficient, customer-oriented HR services encompassing recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll adjustments, compliance, and HR documentation accuracy.
Key Duties
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance and proper right to work checks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, supporting payroll-related amendments.
- Deliver first-line HR advice for managers and employees on routine employee relations topics like absence management and probation reviews.
- Support complex employee relations cases, organizational change initiatives, and HR projects under the guidance of the Head of HR.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in an HR environment with strong administrative capabilities and attention to detail.
- Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and understanding of HR compliance and employment legislation.
- Ability to provide basic employee relations support, including handling absence, probation, and policy queries.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Suitable for HR Coordinators, Officers, or Administrators aiming to expand advisory responsibilities while maintaining administrative duties.
