Primary Responsibilities

• Exhibit a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and colleagues, adapting to their needs.
• Keep all designated facility areas, including corridors and ancillary spaces, clean and orderly following departmental policies and preventative maintenance requirements.
• Assess and apply appropriate cleaning methods based on training guidelines.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions safely and effectively under supervision.
• Perform disinfection and sterilization of equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment as necessary.
• Follow universal precautions for the safe disposal of trash and biohazardous materials.
• Maintain a well-stocked cleaning cart with properly labeled chemicals and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
• Foster positive interpersonal relationships and maintain professional behavior at all times.
• Contribute to enhancing departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by fulfilling training requirements and adapting to evolving job duties that may be assigned without prior notice.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning preferred.
• High level of attention to detail in all tasks.
• Effective communication skills with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Ability to adapt promptly to changing work demands.
• Physical requirements include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended periods of walking and standing.
• Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
